昨日,一些社交媒體賬戶紛紛詢問兩小時的免費換乘服務是否已被悄悄取消。這些大量的投訴恰好發生在2023年夏令時的第一天。究竟是怎麼回事?

據報道,周日早上乘坐TTC的乘客稱,他們在兩個小時的規定時間內重新刷了Presto卡,之後又被收取了一筆額外的費用。
一些Presto機器似乎錯過了夏令時的時間更改備忘錄,仍然比實際時間提前一個小時讀取換乘時間。

TTC向客戶表示,這個問題是由於錯誤的固件更新造成的,這個問題預計將在今天(13日)晚上得到糾正。
We』ve been advised by @PRESTOcard of a firmware update impacting 2hr transfer taps.
If 1st tap is on a new device and next tap is an old device, only 1 hour is registered.
Being fixed tonight.

但這並沒有阻止大量乘客抱怨額外付費。
Presto和Metrolinx公司回應了社交媒體上的帖子,並向顧客保證,任何因故障而支付額外費用的人將在五天內得到退款。
這可能會是對調整時間不滿的又一個理由。
