【加拿大都市網】周二晚9點左右，一家位於怡陶碧谷Bering Avenue近Kipling與Bloor路段的麵包房遭遇了一場可怕的大火，消防隊員花了好幾個小時才把大火撲滅。

據悉，這家麵包店名叫Del’s Pastry，是一家家族經營的商業麵包房。
隨着火勢升級至五級警報，在風的作用下大火持續到深夜，天空中瀰漫著火焰和濃煙。

據稱，至少有22輛急救車被派往現場，以應對惡化的緊急情況，這場大火損害了大樓結構的穩定性，為防大樓完全倒塌，消防員們不得不保持一定距離。

附近的道路一直關閉到早上，附近的鐵路也因為鐵軌靠近火災現場而停止了雙向交通。據信，火災是由現場的一個烤箱引起的，但調查仍在進行中。
幸運的是，目前沒有人員傷亡報告，整個災難最嚴重的階段已經在今天凌晨12:30左右結束。但是，這座62000平方英尺的建築基本上已經被夷為平地了。

據悉，Del’s Pastry成立於1963年，距今已有將近60年的歷史，擁有員工超過150名，長期以來一直以其精美的批發電信、丹麥點心、蛋糕、鬆餅和肉桂小麵包而備受喜愛。
