■10位佳丽周六在列治文首次公开亮相。受访者提供
今年「温哥华华裔小姐竞选 」的受惠机构卑诗癌症基金会 (BC Cancer Foundation)，周六邀请参赛佳丽出席基金会假列治文时代坊举行的「温哥华华裔小姐竞选」慈善晚宴发布会。10位华姐逐一上台，呼吁公众关注癌症患者所面对的挑战，更借此机会介绍心中的「闪亮之星」，分享她们从这些逆境自强的勇者经历中，得到的启发和感动。
