You learn from one of your relatives that there are a number of volunteer agencies in town which offer helpful services to immigrants. You have not been successful in finding a job, so you go to one of them with the hope that they will be able to help you.
A: I’m interested in finding a job. Can you help me?
B: Yes, we have programs and workshops to help people find jobs.
A: Are you offering any of these right now?
B: Yes, we are. We have a Job Strategy Workshop and a Resume Writing Workshop which begin next month.
A: Do you have information and an application form for these workshops?
B: Yes, here’s the information sheet and application form. Ill also give you a brochure which describes all of our services and programs.
A: Thanks. I notice you also offer career counselling. I’ve had difficulty choosing a career. Is it possible to talk to a counsellor about this?
B: Yes, I can get you an appointment for next Tuesday at 9 a.m. All our counsellors are already fully booked this week.
A: Tuesday is fine. Thanks. I’m glad that these services are available to immigrants.

甲: 谢谢。我留意到你们也有提供职业辅导。一直以来,我都有困难找一份职业。我可不可以跟一位辅导主任谈谈呢?
