由于举行多伦多马拉松赛跑的关系，周日早上至下午大约3时，有多条主要道路需要封闭。
多伦多警队表示，有个别道路已于周日早上6时30分开始封闭，而马拉松赛事由早上大约7时30分开始，途经的道路随即关闭，要等到最后一名跑手经过后，道路才会重开。
马拉松最后一场赛事的起跑时间是在中午；赛事包括半马，接力赛，10公里，5公里及步行。
跑手将由Sheppard大道以北开始起跑，由Yonge街向南穿越Don River，再到Lakeshore大道，最后会到达Humber Bay Park。
