【加拿大都市網】今（2日）安省立法會繼續就推行《Keeping Students in Schools Act》法案召開會議，省長福特試圖使用「但書條款」（Notwithstanding Clause），省長及教長廳長稱擔心學生學習進度被誤才堅持使用，省議員齊聲聲討，有18名省議員最終離場。
新民主黨臨時領袖Peter Tabuns直斥「省長及教育廳長停止為自己造成的教育損失說謊（When will the premier and his ministers stop lying about the damage they are doing to the education system.）」。
眾議院院長指示Peter Tabuns撤回言論，Tabuns回應「不會撤回言論（I will not withdraw.）」，強調省長及廳長在說謊（My remarks were accurate and true, the premier and the ministers are lying.）。
及後Peter Tabuns被請離場，許多新民主黨議員開始大聲斥責福特和廳長，有人大叫：「你們在剝削他們的憲法權利（You are stealing their rights, their constitutional rights.）」，又有人斥責省長及廳長「你們每個人都應該感到羞恥（Everyone one of you should be ashamed.）」。
