针对加拿大已确诊两例新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎病例，中国驻温哥华总领馆将自2020年1月29日起采取以下预防措施：
1、出现类似流感症状、近期到过武汉的申请人请暂缓到馆办理业务，并应立即联系初级保健提供者、当地公共卫生部门或致电加拿大卫生健康专线811，在就医时如实告知医生发病情况，以免延误治疗。
2、证件大厅入口处增设体温检测，如发现体温异常，请暂缓办理相关业务，不要进入办证大厅。
3、证件大厅内提供免洗洗手液，建议公众洗手消毒后再办理业务。
中总领馆称，为了大家的安全健康，请积极配合相关措施。由此所造成的不便，敬请谅解。
