【星島綜合報道】咸美頓一名7 歲兒童周四（11 日）遭市營巴士撞倒，經搶救後不幸身亡。
咸美頓警方表示，事故發生於下午1 時許，地點位於Emerald街夾Wilson 街一帶，涉及一輛 Hamilton Street Railway（HSR）市巴。警方指，男童被緊急送院後不幸死亡。
咸美頓市長Andrea Horwath發聲明表示震驚及難過：「我向受今次悲劇影響的家屬和親友致以最深切慰問。孩子的離世是無法想像的痛苦，全咸美頓市都與他們一同哀悼。我亦感謝在現場工作的緊急救援人員及調查人員。」
Hamilton Police are investigating a collision in which a child was struck by an HSR bus at Emerald Street and Wilson Street. The child has died as a result of their injuries.

警方呼籲市民避免前往該區，並指其交通意外組（Collision Reconstruction Unit）正進行調查。
Wilson Street介乎Tisdale至East Avenue一段預料將封閉數小時。
