在英國諾丁漢,Maisie是家人眼中陽光開朗、愛笑活潑的女孩,但卻在16歲的一天,她用自殺結束了自己的生命。警方調查確認:Maisie患有抑鬱症。但他的家人無法接受這個事實,一天Maisie的姐姐在整理遺物時,發現了妹妹寫下的這兩個詞:乍看上去,Maisie在說「im fine」,但當姐姐不經意間把這張紙條反轉過來之時,她驚呆了,原來自己親愛的妹妹早就在無聲地向這個世界呼救:「help me」。

Begin with your Family Physician (or a trusted healthcare provider). Your physician will help you rule out any physiological challenges that might influence your mood and help you come to a diagnosis. 

Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program – You can self-refer. Anyone can use this service, with or without a diagnosis: 

–          Eligibility: 18+, do not need OHIP/FP, living in Ontario (do not need to be Canadian citizen), includes international students residing in Ontario; primary concern – depression, anxiety or anxiety-related condition; able to actively engage in OSP treatment; exclude individuals who are actively suicidal, and have substance use challenges 

–          Includes: BounceBack (phone-based, Chinese workbook + coaching), clinician-assisted bibliotherapy (6-8 session led by clinician on the phone, English only); individual/group psychotherapy (has Mandarin and Cantonese)
