本拿比骑警做好事 游民喜获食物充饥

本拿比皇家骑警拘捕一名在超市高买的男子，获悉他因没有金钱购买食物后，为他支付了$50的帐单，也没提出起诉。

事发在12月18日星期三下午1时30分前，位于喜士定街(Hastings Street)4400号路段的Safeway报称有人在店内偷窃食物后，向一个巴士站逃去。

接报到场的警员很快便将这名30多岁男子截获，经查证，发现疑犯没有太多犯案记录，他因没有金钱和不知怎样求助才犯案，骑警返回超市为他付帐，并向他提供食物赒济库(Food Bank)的资料。
