本拿比騎警做好事 遊民喜獲食物充饑

本拿比皇家騎警拘捕一名在超市高買的男子，獲悉他因沒有金錢購買食物後，為他支付了$50的帳單，也沒提出起訴。

事發在12月18日星期三下午1時30分前，位於喜士定街(Hastings Street)4400號路段的Safeway報稱有人在店內偷竊食物後，向一個巴士站逃去。

接報到場的警員很快便將這名30多歲男子截獲，經查證，發現疑犯沒有太多犯案記錄，他因沒有金錢和不知怎樣求助才犯案，騎警返回超市為他付帳，並向他提供食物賙濟庫(Food Bank)的資料。
