TORONTO, ON - February 29 Mayor John Tory spoke with the media at City Hall about the deal with Deputy Mayor Denzil Minnan-Wong beside him who was the point person on the talks.
A deal was reached late Friday night between the City of Toronto and CUPE local 416 representing municipal service workers. The worry was that a strike would disrupt services like snow removal, trash collection and recreational activities.
