溫哥華市一家經營超過10年的大麻店東主表示，為了避免面臨刑事檢控，店鋪由周三（6月5日)開始暫停營業。

卑詩上訴庭上周五（5月31日)否決溫市9家無牌大麻店的撤銷關店指令要求，意味着涉及的大麻店必須停業，否則當局有權控告他們藐視法庭。其中一家為位於喜士定東街（East Hastings St.）888號路段的Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary。

轉為大麻倡議中心
Vancouver Dispensary Society發言人拉森(Dana Larsen)表示，Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary於周三上午11時開始暫停銷售大麻產品，正午12時開始，該家店鋪便轉為大麻倡議中心。他補充說，大麻店於2008年開業，是市內第3家最早開設的大麻零售店。拉森批評市府的更改土地用途附例不合理。
