卑詩山火服務處稱，位於獅子灣(Lions Bay)以南，近海天公路的山火，已經受控。
當局在星期日凌晨3時接報指，該處發生山火，火場面積約3公頃。

卑詩山火服務處消防員在直升機協助下，徹夜灌救，加上昨日氣溫較低，山火終受到控制。

沿岸消防中心資訊官麥克弗森(Donna MacPherson)表示，仍在調查山火的發生原因。較早前估計，山火可能由倒下的電線所引起，不過卑詩水電公司已經排除這個可能性。
