據Global News報道，運輸聯網(TransLink)周三公布2017年上半年報告，顯示整體乘客量較去年同期上升5.7%，其中天車系統的升幅更超過一成。

由2017年1月至6月，運聯錄得的乘客量超過2億人次，超越2016年同期5.7%。2016年的全年乘客量達3.85億人次，創下歷來最高紀錄。
